Scene 0003

Scene 0003

I. The Astronaut[]

"The Astronaut is likely the most well-known individual in the Solverse. Due to the fact that his popularity and fame is a burden to bear, he prefers to travel the Solverse alone and in peace. He travels from place to place telling stories and sharing secrets to certain individuals. If he speaks to you directly, consider it an honor."

II. Black Hole With Astronaut[]

From Lore Master: Staff

"This scene hints that there are doorways between universes. Maybe we hint that although the koi set the solverse in motion, they allow these escape hatches for themselves and their allies. This makes the reader think there are many layers to the solverse we are creating."

III. Remembering Catherine[]

"The Astronaut struggled to remember his past. Recalling memories kept his brain from drifting. Having embarked on his mission through space 23 years ago, his mind often lost memories to the silence.

He was from Plant Earth of the Milky Way galaxy, in the United States of America, the town of Concord, Massachusetts, near the Old North Bridge. New England foliage of oranges, yellows, and reds were painted in his mind. He always remembered the leaves. He also remembered that Concord was a town of importance during the Revolutionary War. He recalled each word of the “Concord Hymm” by Ralph Waldo Emerson, yet the names of his many family members were beginning to be forgotten. “‘Tis a mystery what the mind remembers,” he muttered,

“By the rude bridge that arched the flood, Their flag to April’s breeze unfurled, Here once the embattled farmers stood And fired the shot heard round the world.”

This hymm always made him proud to be from Concord. What courage the militiamen had shown fighting for their independence. He strained to remember more. He vaguely recalled attending a New England preparatory school where he had fallen madly in love with a girl named Catherine, but she had not returned his love until the last several months of high school. They had tried to date long-distance while at university, but broke up after a couple years. A pang of sadness ran through him. “True love is rare.” At least he had known it once. With Catherine, it had been love at first sight. Many do not believe in love at first sight, but he had experienced it. He felt lucky to have fallen in love at first sight. “Not everyone gets to experience that.” A tear ran down his face. He let out a deep sigh. “Long-distance is hard. Long-distance..ugh,” he muttered to himself. Then he chuckled at the irony.

The Astronaut looked down into the black abyss before him and smiled, remembering the fun times with Catherine. “Maybe I will see her again some day.”

IV. The Man[]

From Lore Master: schmoo

"He was known as “The Man” and he floated among the stars. He launched himself into space after sending a message to his only love. She had fallen for another and had told him she did not want to be friends. Without the satisfaction of her love and friendship, and the impossibility of ever being her friend, there was nothing for him left on his home planet. He wrote one final message to her, “you told me you’d be really grateful if I never spoke to you again - for me this is hard to hear; for you easy to say. But maybe therein lies the only form of love that I can show you.. respecting your wish. Is that a form of love? What a painful way to show love, knowing it will never be returned. So because I do love you and probably always will (and because you do not love me), I’ll try my hardest to never talk to you again.” What a tragic journey true love can be. And so, The Man committed to eternal silence, for her, for his love. He disappeared. And she never heard from him again. When she heard he was gone, she wished to see him again."

V. Portal Of Dreams[]

From Lore Master: naeB2

"Looking down into the abyss, she cried. Never to see her husband again. Never to hug her children. Never to laugh with her parents. Never to run with her dog, Rooney. Forever banished to outer space for something she hadn’t done. Honor is expensive. Surely they had realized by now that she was not guilty. And now she wondered, having arrived before the Portal of Dreams, “Could this portal finally bring me back home?”

VI. Out Of Sight[]

From Lore Master: EEISHERW

"In the latter parts of the Solverse timeline, swirling black gaps began to tear matter apart in many regions of explored space. Some were as large as black holes and were easily mistaken as such. Others were microscopic, which often led to unpredictable results at the subatomic level. Most of the others were medium-sized and concentrated on inhabited planets. Once the novelty wore off, and scientists couldn’t explain them, they were soon put to use as forget-me-rifts. Mobsters often used them to rid themselves of competitors. Children used them to dispose of homework. Some space contractors used the odd holes to shove spent fuel rods into what they presumed was the next universe. Little did anyone know it was all going to a parallel timeline, where they were none too happy to see a dead body appear out of nowhere and fall onto their kitchen table."

VII. The Astro[]

From Lore Master: Epicurus

"The Astro was a famous thief, and a collector of powerful objects. She stored her stolen objects within Dark Hollow, which was a magical ""storage system"" of sorts. Dark Hollow only returns items to the individual who had committed the object initially. Essentially, Dark Hollow had become The Astro's personal storage closet for all of her stolen magical jewels."

VIII. Inner Strength[]

From Lore Master: Emerson

"What lies behind us and what lies before us are small matters compared to what lies within us"

IX. The Hero[]

From Lore Master: Faithful

"He decided to go back. Back to the darkness. To save his family. To save the Solverse! ""For the Solverse!"" he said, reassuring himself of his decision. And then he dove down into the darkness. The Astronaut, the hero, who saved us all."

X. The Bridge[]

From Lore Master: BilyGoat

"The Bridge is the portal from the Solverse to another metaverse, such as Decentraland. Visitors and inhabitants of the Solverse use The Bridge frequently everyday."

XI. The Genesis Point[]

From Lore Master: Epicurus

"The astronaut explained to Townsend and Charmian that this was the point of creation from which all matter and living beings in the Solverse came. This was the first emergence from nothingness. The source of something from nothing. ""This is the genesis point."

XII. Follow The Music[]

From Lore Master: Genesis

"The music from the depths of the black hole lured in the curious Astronaut. He must discover the genesis. He must go on, into the Solverse."

XIII. Ignorance Is Bliss[]

From Lore Master: Phineas

"The astronaut dove down through the portal, but was immediately transported back to where he was 15 seconds ago. Once transported back, he did not remember having had gone through the portal before, so he made the same decision to go through the portal. Over and over again he was transported back 15 seconds. And so, he was stuck living in the same 15 second interval again and again and again, for the rest of his life. And he didn't even know it."

XIV. The Elippian Way[]

From Lore Master: Calypso

"The Elippian Way is a time passage. 2,607 centuries ago Victoria Sykes, the famous Astronaut from planet Earth (of the Milky Way galaxy), stumbled upon it on her way to Ethox, a planet in the Colipsos Galaxy. The time passage can propel one forward or backward, depending on which direction one enters through The Opening. There is only one time passage in the entire Solverse, that being the all-powerful Elippian Way."

XV. Cemention[]

From Lore Master: kreepie

"Onward. This is our inevitable fate. We all must move onward... Cemention is the entryway for the dead to move on... to the next plane on consciousness? No one knows. Upon death, our souls travel through the Solverse to Cemention and pass through the abyss to another place. No living soul has ever passed through Cemention... which makes sense because Cemention is impossible to be found by the living. Until now, a rogue Astronaut believes she has found Cemention at last. And now, she questions whether she is dead or still alive."

XVI. The Opening[]

From Lore Master: Lily

"The Opening is the entryway into the Solverse. All who enter the Solverse from other universes must pass through The Opening. There is only one entryway."

XVII. To Another Universe[]

From Lore Master: Smarion

"He had seen this in a dream when he was a boy… the portal another universe."

XVIII. Uncertainty[]

From Lore Master: ♾fan♾

"All she had to do was dive down through the black hole to get back home. She had always thought that she’d like to go back home one day, but now that she had the opportunity before her, she wasn’t sure."

XIX.[]

From Lore Master: 300☠️

"Every 100 years, one human from Planet Earth must volunteer to travel through the Solar Tunnel to be sacrificed by the Xerians. This keeps the peace with the ancient civilization, known as Xeri. Surprisingly, there is overwhelming demand from humans to be chosen as the sacrifice, for all humans want their legacy to live on. Who would have thought there would be a competitive application process for certain death?"

XX.[]

From Lore Master: Bean

"Running shiver down her spine, the Astro let her time unwind, for all to live across the stars, for all of yours, for all of ours."
