I. High Diplomacy[]

"It was here in Paco’s Drink Emporium that humans from Draco’s Rift first met the Fluery Star Chasers, a group of cooperative aliens who traveled the stars searching for new species. Always aware of the threat of native weapons, the Chasers disarmed all twenty of the humans, and only let six of the least threatening sit at the tables inside the bar. The rest were kept a respectable distance away. Unfortunately, the aliens were unable to properly sort the humans, and the locals didn’t want to complain to the obviously superior beings. This skewed those in attendance to two children under ten, one under four, one janitor, one bar maid, and the owner of the bar, who wasn’t very bright. Unimpressed with the technological know-how of the humans, the aliens left in disgust. It would be 2500 years before the next alien ship landed. Learning from the lesson of the first encounter, only heads of state were allowed to talk during that meeting. Unfortunately, it went even worse than the one with the toddlers, and it would be another 6000 years before the aliens returned for good. "
