I. The Lucky Frog

"Few humans have the good fortune to visit the isolated island of Namukmenenna. They are known for their small assortment of trade goods, such as peat brew and gems, and the five-leaf clover is the national flower. Fishing in the shallow bay often yields species of fish never seen by human-kind. However, the reason most people get off the boat at the island is to see the twenty-foot-tall stone frog sitting underneath one of the local temples. Its presence has mystified villagers and scientists alike, since no one can answer the simple question about where it came from. Was it built by a long-gone civilization? Brought to the surface of the planet by aliens? Perhaps it was forgotten by the gods when they took the time to make the whole planet? All anyone can say for sure is how the entry ticket seems to get more expensive with each visit."
