I. Black Figures In Building[]

"Not much is known about the comings and goings of members of the Dark Alliance. Their original forms were oily blobs that floated into the Solverse from the shipping lanes of deep space, but as the ages went on, they began to take human form and come together to conspire against Maara, Goddess of War, and Koi Mother of Order. A rare security photograph here shows three of the Darks while they hold their in-between form, which is an upright human shape without any associated color or clothing. These black blobs would later blend themselves into a crowd and kidnap a prominent clergy woman. This began a downward spiral of the world, and eventual loss to the Dark Alliance."
