I. Burned Caves[]

From Lore Master: HEAT

"There are odd lights emanating from the nearby cave system. A rich orange hue the color of fire is offset by an mpressive shade of pink. Blue steel mining car tracks lead into a parallel tunnel not far from the first. Above both openings, a pair of unimpressed birds wait for humans to return and drop their food, something they always did without fail. The end of the tunnels had never been found, though the area was a bit backward relative to the rest of the nation, so advanced mining research had yet to be attempted. At the time of this entry, only five men and one woman have been lost to cave accidents."
