"For almost the entire length of the Solverse timeline, humanity has had one goal that it often strived to grasp, but always failed. That is, until this experiment came along (pictured) to give it a try. Built on a million-square-meter campus crammed with machinery, computing power, and dormitory space, every last ounce of those resources was necessary to get the machine up and running. The intended goal of all this? To allow the user, who sat in the purple chair, to put on both shoes at the same time. It may seem trivial to include in this collection, but it highlights that when peace dominated the Solverse, military and industrial resources often got devoted to pet projects such as this one. This archivist would like to add she still has to put her shoes on one at a time, so if this experiment was successful, it was never shared with the rest of the Solverse."
