"Standing at the gates guarding the entrance to the beyond, it seemed a strange sight to Rose to stare into the unknown abyss and be greeted with a symphony of lights and colours swarming together like a hive of bees, forming a dangerous beauty. The balance between elegance and chaos was being navigated as carefully as a figure skater holding their pose for a sea of critics. Spurred by the faux courage of her friends around her, Rose’s body tremored like a violent earthquake as she edged closer towards the vast void now consuming her periphery. In the quest for answers Rose took her first fateful steps through the wooden fortress protecting countless hidden secrets from the greater world beyond it, completely exposed to the dangers around her. Yet in staring at the terrifying nature of the unknown Rose knew that with each step she took she would be closer to finding out the truth, and as frightening as the unfamiliar place was she felt an indescribable strength in finally taking control of her destiny after a lifetime of ignorance."
