"Human warfare never ceased in the entire timeline of the Solverse, but there were epochs when warfare was more common. These usually corresponded to big moves being made on the higher planes, such as when Koi Mother of Order fought against the forces of the Dark Alliance. And the forces of Dark resorted to any means to infiltrate the armies of the light, such as this 2-meter-long AI-driven robot drone, which was programmed to lurk in swamps and bogs until a high-value target came within striking distance. These drones became so commonplace that children’s fables were created to keep kids clear of them. Over many lifetimes, the fear of spiders became ingrained into the DNA of the human race. Sadly, this is for good reason, as even today some of these drones linger on ancient battlefields, always ready to pounce on someone who is filled with goodness and light."
