"The premiere of the movie “8 Maara’s and the Darkness” released to high accolades in the great theaters of Maxim City. The red carpet was rolled out for every dignitary from the city and remote provinces of the industrial world. But the real star of the show was Maara herself, as she arrived on a Sol Unicorn mecha-bot which trotted her down the middle of the busy street. Already the toast of the evening for defeating the Dark Alliance in a nearby system, she wowed the packed crowds as she debarked her steed with a handsome as-yet-unidentified man on her elbow. The schmoozing is what we’ve come to expect from the eccentric goddess, but there is a real mystery about her companion. None of the reporters or government officials could identify the man, and that included the resources of the Imperial Police. After the show, Maara and her friend were nowhere to be found. We will continue to pursue this."
