"Capitol building of the nation of Spire, on the Twelfth Continent. It was here, in this unassuming little building, Maare, goddess of war, signed a treaty with proxies of the Dark Alliance, after she won her first victory since Downfall. It has been established for several Ages the Dark Alliance never surrenders in person, but they do have allies in the material realm, and those agents do eventually lose the will to fight. A notable event because it signified one of the earliest examples of an ally surrendering without suffering later retribution from the Dark. It set the stage for other vassal states to shake off the yoke of their evil overlords."
